Merge Games has announced that their top-down action-adventure title Sparklite is releasing on November 14, 2019, on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Sparklite has been making waves in this past year with special appearances on nearly every major event around the world such as Gamescom and PAX. In celebration of the release date, Merge Games has also released a brand new key art for the game which you can check out above.
The most recent showing of Sparklite was held in the recent Nintendo Indie World Showcase and before that, Sparklite was present at ID@Xbox, ‘The Mix Seattle’, ‘Kinda Funny’ Showcase as well as the Monsters of Indie’ Superstar Dev Panel. The game received very well on all platforms and proves that fans are waiting impatiently for this indie title to release. It turns out, we don’t really have to wait much longer now to play it.
Sparklite combines an arsenal of gadgets, guns, and gear along with a diverse, procedurally-generated world where players must take the titans of the mining industry and harness the power of Sparklite. Players will be required to solve a number of different challenging puzzles along with fighting bosses and enemies. The game mixes the elements of classic adventures and modern roguelike elements into one package.
Merge is currently running a Steam Wishlist promotion where every player who adds the game to their Wishlist will get a free demo of the game ahead of its release. This promotion is running in celebration of the game hitting 15,000 mark on the Wishlist numbers. As more and more Wishlist the game on Steam, players will be able to get new rewards as well with a final mystery gift unlocking at 55,000.
