Publisher SHUEISHA Games and solo developer ginolabo have announced the release date and additional platforms of their upcoming deckbuilding RPG SOULVARS. SOULVARS is a popular, upcoming turn-based deckbuilding RPG slated for release on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on June 27, 2023. SOULVARS is a modern RPG inspired by classic JRPGs and features pixel art visuals that give a nostalgic yet fresh experience. Fans of JRPGs and newcomers to this genre will equally enjoy this unique tale with innovative gameplay mechanics, pixel art visuals, and a memorable soundtrack.

The story of SOULVARS revolves around the emergence of grotesque Dominations that has brought about the consequences of technology for humanity. To counter this threat, Elite units comprising Soulbearers, the next generation of humans born with alternate Souls are deployed to intercept and counter these attacks. You will step into the game as Yakumo, a freelance Soulbearer, and handle assignments from private military contractor DDO or Dominator Disposal Organization.
