Sony Play At Home Returning in March 2021, Ratchet & Clank First Free Title by Sony

Sony Play At Home

Sony has announced that it is bringing back Play At Home program for 2021 as well and it will give away free games and free days of services just like the previous year. Sony started Play At Home in 2020 after more than half of the world was shut down and in quarantine because of Coronavirus and Sony played its part by giving free games to people so that they would stay at home and prevent the spread of coronavirus.

This was announced by Jim Ryan, President, and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, on the official PlayStation Blog where he detailed that the program is returning for a second year. This time around, Play At Home will kick off in March and will last until June 2021. As part of the program, the company will give free games for all players and sometimes additional bonuses as well. Last year, Sony gave away Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey to everyone.

For this year, Sony is starting with yet another title Ratchet & Clank which will be available to everyone for the month of March 2021. These are different from PS Plus free titles because these are not linked to PS Plus and even if your PS Plus runs out, you can still play these titles. Apart from Ratchet & Clank, Sony is also offering 90 Days free of Funimation or Wakanim in the countries where they are available.

Ratchet & Clank will arrive as part of Sony Play At Home on March 1, 2021, while the 90 free days of Funimation or Wakanim will arrive on March 25, 2021. You can claim both of them whether you have a PS Plus subscription or not. The game will remain playable even if you run out of PS Plus membership later.
