Blizzard officially revealed the new class Rogue for Diablo IV during BlizzConline 2021 last night. There were leaks and teasers before about the Rogue class coming to Diablo IV however now it has been confirmed by Blizzard. Rogue will be joining the previously announced Barbarian, Sorceress, and Druid class in Diablo IV when it comes out.
The Rogue class was present in both Diablo and Diablo II however it was skipped in Diablo III. The new class was announced with a new action-packed trailer that showed Rogue in action. The four-minute-long trailer gives us both a cinematic intro of the character and her in action in the game as well. The gameplay shows her slicing and dicing her way past her enemies and using her bow for decimating her enemies from afar.

Some call it murder. She calls it a job well done. The Rogue is the newest addition to the Diablo IV campfire, combining range and melee attacks with incredible speed and mobility. Prepare to slaughter hordes of the damned with imbued weapons and specialized attacks.
The Rogue is an adaptable, agile warrior who can specialize in ranged or close-quarters combat. She can best any foe with her imbued weapons, perform powerful combo attacks, and can augment her arsenal with deadly poisons and shadow magic to slay demons with impunity.
With the announcement of Rogue, the total number of classes in Diablo IV is now four. Additional classes might be announced at a later stage for Diablo IV or they might be released as part of DLC and expansions later. A confirmed release date for Diablo IV is also not known at this point however we know that it will come out on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
