As menacing as the boss looks after introducing itself, Ophion remains stationary in one place as a giant enemy but uses plenty of projectile-based attacks.

How to Beat Ophion
The first thing you should know before you start shooting at the boss is to know its weakness. You will find large blue orbs around the boss which when shot upon revealing the red weak points on the boss’s body. It is only when you can see the weak points and then shooting at them will cause damage to Ophion. The large blue orbs can spawn in multiple numbers around each side of the boss. Having one of the Blue orb active at all times will allow you to hit the boss’s weak points.
Meanwhile, Ophion will send forth a barrage of orbs, in all different colors and patterns, enough the overwhelm any player. The trick here is to be on the move, where you can effectively dodge through the orbs while attacking the boss consistently with your bullets. One of the boss’s attacks is when it produces a purple shockwave that slowly expands. This attack cannot be dodged but can only be jumped over. You have to be very careful not to get caught in one of these shockwaves and always be looking out for them.
Keeping a distance away from the boss, anticipating the blue and green orbs with the purple shockwave will see you through the first phase of the fight.
The second phase begins with a slightly changed Ophion that brings in new attacks in the mix. While you may notice the orbs from the first phase, he has new attacks include the purple beam that comes from above which cannot be dodged. However, if you have enough distance between yourself and the boss, they should be enough space for you to avoid the beams.
The final phase of the battle makes Ophion even more aggressive with its attacks than before. He will use the laser beam more occasionally, while continuously raining you with all sorts of orbs that linger on for quite a while. The whole area looks like fireworks exploding with different color orbs, and though it is quite mesmerizing. The effective way of taking down the boss is to keep moving from either side of the stage to the other, look for gaps between orbs, jump over shockwaves, and keep firing at the blue orbs and then the body of Ophion. Eventually, Ophion will be depleted of all its health from each of the three phases.
