Analyzer Blood Sample Puzzle Guide – Resident Evil Requiem
The analyzer puzzle is based on a grid of nodes. Some of the nodes are squares while others appear as circles. The goal is to convert every square node into a circle.
You can only click on nodes that currently appear as squares. When a square node is selected, it changes its state and also flips the state of the nodes connected to it. This means a square may turn into a circle, while a circle may switch back into a square. Because of this behavior, choosing the correct order of squares is necessary to complete the puzzle successfully.
Blood Specimen Solutions
Several blood specimens can be collected throughout the facility, and each one has a small puzzle that must be solved before the analysis is complete.
- Blood Specimen – Denatured
Location: Blood Lab
Puzzle Solution: When you place the sample into the analyzer, the puzzle is very simple. To complete it, select the center square node on the grid. This action will convert the necessary nodes into circles and finish the analysis.
Crafting Unlock: Once the puzzle is completed, you will gain the ability to craft Handgun Ammo and Hemolytic Injectors.
- Blood Specimen – Converged
Location: Waiting Room’s Closet in the East Wing
Before you can reach this area, you must obtain the Level 1 ID Wristband. This item can be picked up from a dead researcher on the second floor of the East Wing. This is just beyond the Lead Researcher’s Office. Be careful when retrieving the wristband because this area includes a Chunk boss encounter. You may either defeat the creature or lure it away before grabbing the item.
Puzzle Solution: After placing the specimen in the analyzer, start by selecting the top middle square on the grid. Then click the second square from the bottom.
Crafting Unlock: Completing this puzzle unlocks the crafting recipes for Med Injectors and 12.7×55mm Ammo.
- Blood Specimen – Reversible
Location: Blood Lab, hidden behind a security door, requiring the Level 1 ID Wristband to open
Puzzle Solution: When analyzing this sample, you must press several squares in a specific order. Begin with the bottom-left square, followed by the center square. After that, select the top-right square, and then click the second square from the top.
Crafting Unlock: Completing the puzzle allows you to craft Steroids and Stabilizers, which can be useful upgrades.
- Blood Specimen – Polymerized Exclusive for Insanity Mode
Location: Waiting Room’s Closet, near where you obtain the Pantry Key
Puzzle Solution: Once the sample is placed in the analyzer, the puzzle requires three selections. First, choose the second square on the left, then click the second square on the right, and then select the second square in the middle.
Crafting Unlock: Completing this analysis unlocks the crafting option for the R.I.P. Knife, along with 30 rounds of Handgun Ammo.
