The specifications for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060Ti graphics card have leaked out by Videocardz and according to the leaks, the RTX 3060 Ti may feature 4864 CUDA Cores and 8 GB GDDR6 memory. These leaked specs show some interesting numbers for the next-generation budget card which will be targeting the budget gaming segment.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 is scheduled to launch sometime in November and it may feature the SUPER or Ti naming scheme. Right now, NVIDIA has officially announced just three cards in its Ampere GeForce RTX 30 series lineup. These include the GeForce RTX 3090, the GeForce RTX 3080, and the GeForce RTX 3070.
But according to leaker Kopite7kimi, NVIDIA has several SKUs ready for release, and the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is one of them. According to Kopite7kimi who is the leaker who correctly predicted RTX 3000 series specs weeks ahead of launch, the RTX 3060 Ti will feature the GA104-200 GPU which is a cut-down variant of the GA104 GPU which is featured on the GeForce RTX 3070.

The RTX 3060 Ti is rumored to feature 38 SMs with a total of 4864 CUDA Cores, 152 Tensor Cores, and 38 RT cores. That’s a total of 1024 CUDA cores less than RTX 3070. The RTX 3060 Ti will feature 8 GB of GDDR6 memory running at speeds of 14 Gbps along with a 256-bit wide bus interface which gives the card 448 GB/s of bandwidth.
It is rumored that the RTX 3060 Ti’s TDP will be 40W less than the RTX 3070. Custom models are expected to carry TDPs of around 200W and will require a single 8-pin power connector to boot. This would suggest a standard 8-pin connector for the reference design and Founders Edition variants as well.
Based on the pricing of the currently announced RTX 3000 cards, we may see RTX 3060ti launch for 300$. The RTX 2060 SUPER did launch at $399 USD but due to the competition, we may see NVIDIA target a lower launch price.
