There is no direct combat with Death Veil at first. Instead, you are placed with several Lesser Crucibles similar to the enemies you’ve already faced throughout the missions in the game. They don’t have special mechanics, and there are no complex patterns to learn. Once you clear one Crucible, Death Veil’s overall health bar drops slightly. You just repeat this process until the health bar is fully drained.
The final Lesser Crucible adds a small twist. It launches fire attacks from afar while you deal with the enemies inside. However, this is easy to manage.
