MultiVersus Season 2 has just been revealed and fans will be happy to know that the new season will bring Marvin the Martian along with a Game of Thrones map. Developed by Player First Games and published by Warner Bros. Games, MultiVersus is a new free-to-play platform fighter that was launched earlier this year and features characters from a number of different franchises. Apart from new content, Season 2 will also bring many new features which were missed back in Season 1 of MultiVersus.
Starting with the most obvious one, Martin the Martian is coming to MultiVersus, and he is just one of the new characters who will be joining the roster of MultiVersus. As the name suggests, Martian the Martian comes from Mars, and he was sent to earth to destroy it alongside his Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator. A confirmed release date for the character is not known at this point however he will arrive in the game pretty soon after Season 2 goes live. Apart from the new character, Warner Bros. Games has also revealed the new Game of Thrones coming to MultiVersus.
The new map is themed around Game of Thrones, and it will feature all of the hazards and pitfalls that you would normally expect to see in Westeros. The stage features the Iron Throne in the background as you will be able to chuck your friends around while you hear an all-new remix of the Game of Thrones theme music which has been composed with multiple sections that can transition dynamically depending on what sort of mayhem is taking place in the match at that point. Same as Marvin the Martian, additional details and a release date of the Game of Thrones map will be shared later.
Just like the first season, MultiVersus Season 2 Battle Pass is also live in the game now and it includes a variety of free items for all players to play the game and unlock. This includes the new Baker Street Tom and Jerry character variant, Tea Time Reindog variant, and Pixel Finn profile icon. If you purchase the premium tier of the Battle Pass, you can unlock premium rewards such as the Astronaut Velma variant, the Maestro Bugs variant and Arya Yawn taunt. Both the Free and Premium tiers of the Battle Pass feature 50 rewards each for you to unlock if you have access to both of these tiers. If you want to dish out real-world money, you can purchase Samurai Batman, Evil Morty, and Fern Finn.
