SOEDESCO has announced that the dark monster taming game Monster Crown is all set to release in Early Access on Steam next month. The game will be playable during the upcoming Steam Game Festival and players will be able to jump in the Early Access release starting July 31, 2020. SOEDESCO has also released a brand new gameplay trailer today celebrating the Early Access release next month.
Steam Game Festival is running from Jun 16 – June 22 and players will be able to play the game themselves during this festival to get a taste of the game. The developer Studio Aurum started working on Monster Crown back in 2016 and since then, fans have loved the title. The developer has been super active with the community and the community around the game has only grown in the past on both their official Discord and Kickstarter.

The game is officially described as:
20 years ago, Crown Island was ruled by the sadistic, monstrous Philosopher Kings who used dark magic to inflict suffering and exert their tyranny. A group of young people rose up, overthrowing the Philosopher Kings and bringing peace back to Crown Island. Now, a dangerous young woman is trying to get her hands on the Philosopher Kings’ power. It is up to the player to travel across Crown Island with their monster companions to put an end to the dark, underground plot.
You will unravel the dark and cruel story of Crown Island as you create your very own monster legacy. The island has a history of sadistic rulers and heroic savers however now the island is facing yet another threat in the form of a malicious young woman who is seeking power. You will need to find and make pacts with monsters to fight back and prevent the return of tyranny on Crown Island.
