Crow’s boss fight in MIO: Memories in Orbit is where fast movement and vertical combat come together. The battle constantly shifts around the arena, forcing you to stay alert as Crow teleports and attacks from all sides. This fight is less about dealing heavy damage and more about control, positioning, and knowing when to wait instead of chasing. This MIO: Memories in Orbit Crow Boss Guide details all the tips and tricks you need to defeat Crow.
Crow Boss Battle Guide – MIO: Memories in Orbit
Crow is the third boss that you will face. To start a fight, first we need to find her. To get to her, move through the Severed Spine and continue toward the Haven. You should make use of the flowers and the Hairpin to climb upward through the area. Once you reach the top, head left to enter the arena where the fight begins.
Crow spends most of the battle in the air, teleporting around the arena and attacking from different sides. She moves quickly and often repositions before you can react, which makes chasing her a mistake. Instead, you should focus on her movements closely and wait for moments when she commits to an attack and briefly slows down.
Crow’s Attacks and How to Handle Them
During the first phase, Crow will often disappear and reappear high in the air before sweeping across the arena in a long motion. If you run away randomly from this, you are more likely to get hit. The safer option is to move toward her starting point, so the attack passes above you. Once she lands at the end of the motion, she pauses briefly, giving you time to land a few hits.
At other times, Crow will teleport into the air and throw projectiles diagonally across the screen toward your position. These cover a large area and can feel overwhelming. You can avoid them by moving to the far left or right of the arena, jumping to clear their path, or striking them to destroy them before they reach you.
Crow may also teleport close to you and strike downward at an angle before pushing herself away horizontally. When this happens, do not back away. Instead, move past her as the attack starts, so you end up behind her and attack from there.
Another common move involves Crow appearing directly above you and dropping straight down with a strong attack. As soon as you see her overhead, step slightly to either side. The attack only hits in a straight line, and she remains grounded for a moment afterward, allowing you to counterattack safely.
As the fight progresses in the second phase, Crow will pause briefly in the center of the arena while water begins flowing in from both sides. This permanently reduces the space you have to move. While she remains still during this moment, you should take the opportunity to land a few hits before the arena becomes more difficult.
Final Tips for the Fight
To defeat Crow, focus on thinking rather than reaction. Staying calm and keeping yourself near the center of the arena gives you more room to dodge her teleports and aerial attacks. Nearly all of her moves consist of short animations, and waiting for those moments instead of chasing her across the arena makes the fight far more manageable.
