Mewgenics Classes Guide – All Classes, How to Unlock

In this Mewgenics Classes Guide, we will see all the classes available in the game and how you can unlock them. In Mewgenics, your cats are not just random fighters. The game works a lot like an RPG, which means classes play a big role in how your cats perform in battles. As you progress, you will unlock more classes naturally by completing different areas on the map. Each class changes your cat’s stats in different ways, making them stronger in some areas and weaker in others.

Classes Guide – Mewgenics

At the start of the game, you already have access to four basic classes. These don’t require any special progress to unlock.

  • Hunter: The Hunter is available right away. This class focuses more on Dexterity and Luck, giving +3 Dexterity and +2 Luck. However, it slightly lowers Constitution by 1 and Speed by 2.
  • Fighter: The Fighter is another starting class. It increases Strength by 2 and Speed by 1, while reducing Intelligence by 1.
  • Mage: The Mage is also unlocked from the start. It boosts Intelligence and Charisma by 2 each, but lowers Constitution and Strength by 1.
  • Tank: The Tank is the last of the beginning classes. It gives a large +4 boost to Constitution, but reduces Speed and Dexterity by 1 each.

Classes Unlocked in Act 1

As you continue playing and reach new locations, you will unlock additional classes by talking to Butch on the map after completing certain areas.

  • Cleric: The Cleric becomes available when you reach The Sewers for the first time and then speak to Butch. This class increases Charisma and Constitution by 2, but reduces Speed and Dexterity by 1.
  • Thief: After you fully complete The Sewers and talk to Butch again, you unlock the Thief. This class greatly increases Speed by 4 and adds 1 Luck, but lowers Strength and Constitution by 1. The Thief is much faster.
  • Necromancer: When you finish The Boneyard for the first time and speak to Butch, you unlock the Necromancer. It provides +2 Constitution and +1 Charisma, but decreases Strength by 2. This class trades physical damage for better survivability and personality traits.

Classes Unlocked in Act 2

Moving into Act 2, completing new areas continues to unlock more advanced classes.

  • Druid: The Druid unlocks after finishing The Crater and talking to Butch. This class boosts Charisma by 3 and Luck by 1, but lowers Constitution by 2. The Druid leans more toward supportive or personality-based stats rather than durability.
  • Tinkerer: After completing The Bunker and speaking with Butch, you gain access to the Tinkerer. This class provides a strong +4 Intelligence increase, while reducing Luck and Charisma by 1 each. It focuses heavily on brain power.
  • Butcher: Finishing The Core and then talking to Butch unlocks the Butcher. This class increases Constitution by 3 and Strength by 2 but decreases Speed by 2. The Butcher is powerful and tough, but noticeably slower.
  • Psychic: Once you complete The Moon and speak to Butch, you unlock the Psychic. This class adds +1 to Intelligence, Charisma, and Speed, but lowers Constitution by 1.

Final Class in Act 3

  • Monk: In Act 3, completing The Labs for the first time and talking to Butch unlocks the Monk. This class increases Intelligence and Charisma by 2 each while reducing Strength and Dexterity by 1. The Monk focuses more on mental and personality stats.
