Devsisters has announced the launch of the brand-new KPop Demon Hunters X CookieRun: Kingdom collaboration. The brand-new collaboration is a limited-time event that brings the world of KPop Demon Hunters into the mobile RPG through new playable Cookies, storylines, rewards, and more. The collaboration is now live, and it will remain live in the game through May 6, 2026, 1:59 PT.
Limited Time Event Brings KPop Demon Hunters into CookieRun: Kingdom
The new KPop Demon Hunters X CookieRun: Kingdom Collab brings a new story set in the Dark Cacao Kingdom, in which players will recruit HHUNTR/X Cookies and battle through limited-time modes. Different mini games are also playable, which will unlock exclusive rewards and allow players to decorate their Kingdom with themed costumes, music, and décor inspired by KPop Demon Hunters. The collaboration brings multiple ways for players to experience this unique fusion of two completely different franchises.
Key features of the collab include:
- Special Episode, “HUNTR/X Show in the Cookie World!”, in which the Saja Boys and a horde of demons invade the Dark Cacao Kingdom. Sing alongside HUNTR/X to protect the Cookie Honmoon.
- Three new playable HUNTR/X Cookies that players can add to their teams, each with a different battle role:
- Rumi Cookie, a fast, close-range fighter whose divine singing can move any audience and whose blade can vanquish even the strongest demons. Rumi also carries a well-guarded secret that even her fellow HUNTR/X members do not know.
- Mira Cookie, a front-line fighter built to rush into battle and apply heavy, up-close pressure. Though blunt and short-fused, Mira’s powerful dancing can tear down walls between Cookies and bring color back to life.
- Zoey Cookie, a distance-based attacker whose fearless rap style and onstage charisma make her a standout in both performance and combat. From afar, she pierces demons like a sharp blade without needing to get in close.
- Limited-time gameplay modes and event battles that give players new ways to fight and earn rewards, including:
- Live! Survival on Stage, a survival-style mode featuring the HUNTR/X Cookies. Complete the Set List missions to earn rewards!
- Gwi-Ma! Demon Distress, a special boss raid where players battle Gwi-ma, the demon king, to protect the Cookie World.
- A collaboration mini-game that offers additional ways to interact with the event and collect rewards:
- Derpy’s Catch the Jelly Worm: Race to scoop up Jelly Worms and aim for the highest score
- New cosmetics and Kingdom decor that let players bring the crossover into their own in-game space, including:
- Themed costumes for HUNTR/X and the Saja Boys
- Four interactive buildings that can be placed in the Kingdom to trigger unique character motions and play music
Since its release, CookieRun: Kingdom has managed to accumulate over 300 million players worldwide and over $1 billion in lifetime revenue. KPop Demon Hunters recently won the Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song at the 98th Academy Awards. This makes this collaboration a major milestone for both brands.
