This guide will show you how to beat Klaw in Marvel’s Avengers War for Wakanda, the main boss in the DLC story. The fight also brings Crossbones in together with Klaw for your second encounter with Crossbones as well.
Although the fight is with Klaw, you will need to focus on both Crossbones and the turrets that are destroying the city. Let’s look at what you need to do in order to beat Klaw, Crossbones, and the turrets in this boss fight.
How to Beat Klaw in Marvel’s Avengers War for Wakanda
In the first phase of the fight, you will be facing Klaw while being surrounded by a shield that contains both of you. In this close range combat, you need look out for Klaw’s attacks and anticipate them for a parry. Parrying the attacks gives you the best opening for a counter.
To parry an attack, you need to recognize what attacks can be parried. The yellow attacks can be parried and countered, while the red attacks will require you to move out the way or dodge. Eventually, Klaw’s health will be depleted enough to remove the shield barricade that has entrapped the both of you.
Once you escape, pick one turret and destroy it completely while you have the chance. Following this, the turrets will again be guarded with their shields, while Crossbones will enter the fight to battle alongside Klaw. Though your fight here is with Klaw, you should focus on Crossbones to stagger him and remove the shields from the turrets. This is because the objective here is to destroy all the turrets harming the city.
The fight with Crossbones will be similar to your fight in the first encounter where you had to destroy the turret and the power cores. However, you can just use ranged attacks to destroy the turrets, each time that Crossbones is staggered.
After Crossbones runs away, you will fight Klaw for the one final time in the same shield sphere that traps you. Avoid his area of effect attacks and keep attacking Klaw to beat him once and for all.
