JDM: Japanese Drift Master will receive a new paid expansion titled American Classics in Q2 2026, bringing six additional vehicles to the game across PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. The DLC is planned for release on all platforms where the base game is currently available, with wishlist options now live on Steam.
The American Classics pack introduces six vehicles: Ironvale Hauler F84, Ironvale Stallion 2024, Roebuck Striker, Roebuck Jetstream 1959, Roebuck Reaver 1969, and Roebuck Reaver 2024. While the core game focuses on Japanese street racing culture and licensed domestic manufacturers, this expansion broadens the vehicle lineup with American-inspired models spanning classic and modern eras.
The DLC forms part of a wider Q2 2026 roadmap. Following its release, the developers plan to introduce Online Multiplayer and a Car Livery System, two features frequently requested by the community. In addition, new Japanese cars will be added to the base game as free updates.
JDM: Japanese Drift Master is set in the fictional prefecture of Guntama, featuring more than 250 kilometers of drivable roads across mountain passes, rural highways, and urban districts. The game offers two driving models, Arcade and Simcade, allowing players to switch between assisted and more technical handling styles. Licensed vehicles from Nissan, Honda, Subaru, and Mazda are supported by mechanical tuning systems, visual customization options, and a story-driven campaign presented through hand-drawn manga panels.
The American Classics DLC is scheduled for release in Q2 2026 on PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. Pricing details have not yet been announced. In our recent review of the PS5 release of JDM: Japanese Drift Master, we gave it a solid 9 because it captures the essence of Japanese drift and automotive culture perfectly in a fictional world. JDM: Japanese Drift Master is currently available on PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
