Publisher Hooded Horse has announced details about its plans for the year 2023 with updates on various titles. The publisher already has 20 games under its belt with more coming soon catering to fans of strategy, RPGs, and simulation. Hooded Horse will be releasing content all throughout the year with exclusive new trailers available for Xenonauts 2 and Alliance of the Sacred Sons right now.
With any further ado, let’s jump into what Hooded Horse has in the pipeline for this year to come.
Manor Lords
Manor Lords is currently enjoying over 1.4 million wishlists and is currently sitting in the top ten most wishlisted games on Steam. Manor Lords is aiming for an early access release in 2023 and it will release with even more features that were available in the October 22 Next Fest demo.
Xenonauts 2
Xenonauts 2 is an X-COM style turn-based tactical experience from the developer Goldhawk Interactive and it is aiming for an Early Access release in Q2 2023. It is a sequel to the original Xenonauts released back in 2014 and builds upon the original game in every way as you build and lead a multi-national force against an alien invasion set during an alt-history Earth. Sons of Valhalla
Sons of Valhalla is a pixelated action, base-building game from Pixel Chest and is targeting Summer 2023 for its release. In Sons of Valhalla, you will build your fortress, gather your armies, and lead them across England as you raid and conquer while trying to find your lost love. Additional details about Sons of Valhalla will be released later this month.
Heart of the Machine
Developed by Arcen, Heart of the Machine is a sandbox game where you are born as the world’s first sentient AI. However, no one in the world knows that you are an AI and you are present in a city that is in desperate need of saving from itself. Additional information about Heart of the Machine will be shared later as the title is expected in the second half of 2023.
Breachway
Breachway is a roguelike strategy game developed by Edgeflow Studio that mixes turn-based tactical space combat with card mechanics for a unique experience. Breachway is also expected in the second half of 2023.
More Announcements
Hooded Horse also details that it has more games slated for this year however their confirmed release dates are not revealed at this time. These titles include The Way of Wrath, Fata Deum, Mars Tactics, Alliance of the Sacred Suns, Falling Frontier, and Fragile Existence. Apart from these titles, Hooded Horse is also teasing additional projects that are currently not announced for this year as well. Details about those titles will be shared at a later date.
