Hollow Knight: Silksong Verdania Map Guide

Verdania is a late-game area, and also one of the prettiest locations in Hollow Knight: Silksong. You will gain access to this location after you have saved The Green Prince, who is locked up in Sinner’s Road. You may have crossed him earlier on the way to the Sinner’s Road map, but this time around, we will save him. Verdania Map Guide – Hollow Knight: Silksong

The process of obtaining Verdania’s map is a two-part process. Unlike most maps in the game, you cannot just access Verdania once you are near its entrance. You must first free The Green Prince, and only then can you gain access to Verdania and hunt down its map. The first half of this guide details how you can save The Green Prince.

Saving The Green Prince

To save The Green Prince, you must head to the following location in Sinner’s Road. Make sure you have a Simple Key to open the lock. You can buy a Simple Key from the vendor in Bone Bottom.

At this location, you will see a bench icon pointing upwards, and if you go a little up, you will find The Green Prince trapped in a cage on the left side.

Continue past him and go up to the very top of the platform on which the cage is located below.

At the top, go left and then look for the drop ahead, which leads to the area with spikes.

Jump down here and glide through the open area while avoiding the path to reach The Green Prince’s cage.

Use the Simple Key to open the cage and free The Green Prince.

Once he is saved, you need to find him in the Choral Chambers and interact with him again. He is found in the following location:

After this interaction, the path to Verdania will be open, and you can head over there to collect the map.

Finding the Map of Verdania

For finding the map, we will be starting in Greymoor’s Craw Lake. It is the only entrance to Verdania, and we have marked it below on the map:

Right where you start, you will notice a balloon ahead. Use it to jump up and then dash right to land on a path ahead. Use this path to enter the next area.

In the next area, keep sprinting to the right side. Jump and dash over the spikes to avoid them, but continue going right.

You will come across The Green Prince again here, but you can ignore him and progress further right.

When you reach the end of this path, you will notice a small opening in the wall on the left. Jump to this opening and squeeze your way through to the next section. Ahead, use the exit on the right to get to the next area.

Ahead, jump and dash to cross the first section of the spikes. After landing, look for a wall above. You need to jump and dash to reach this wall.

Use the wall to reach the next platform with the skull enemy. Do not linger at this wall for too long because a rock will fall from above.

Cross the path with the enemy on it, and then double jump to gain some height, and then glide towards the right to land on a platform.

Now sprint to the right side, and you will come across some dead bugs and a bench. Use the bench to save your game and then pick up the map lying on the ground, next to the dead pilgrim.
