Hollow Knight: Silksong The Abyss Map Guide

The Abyss is the culmination of everything that you have learned in the game and purchased for yourself. It is the toughest location in the game, and you will arrive here during the main story of Act 3. You do not have to do anything else for it; simply progress through the main story enough that you reach the point where you have to enter The Abyss. The Abyss Map Guide – Hollow Knight: Silksong

Since this is a story progression-related area, you will automatically arrive in The Abyss after inserting the Diving Bell Key into the huge lock located in Deep Docks.

Enter through the door once the key has opened it, and you will arrive in The Abyss. When you gain command of Hornet again, start going to the left side, dropping down platforms.

Drop further down the spikey area using the platforms available. Enter the next area using the exit on the left side.

The next area is full of spikes and huge enemies. As soon as you enter this area, there is a large spike pit ahead. Jump and dash over it.

Move ahead, and there is another spike pit. Jumping and dashing will allow you to cross this one as well.

Follow it, and there will be another much smaller spike pit. Choose the bottom left path for progressing further. Ahead, an enemy will drop projectiles on you from above, so make sure to sprint past it.

The next spike pit is a large one, and you will need to cross it carefully while using everything you have got. For its first part, jump, and then jump again to reach the first spikey platform ahead. Do not land on it.

Once you reach above this spikey platform, use the dash to go ahead, and then use the black blob ahead to gain another jump opportunity. You will need to dive attack it. Watch out for the enemy above as well.

After gliding a little further, as soon as you cross the enemy, use another dash left to cross the next spikey platform as well. Cross it and you can just glide to the next platform. Exit through the path to reach the next area.

Ahead, you will come across another huge spike pit. From the entrance, jump to the first black blob and dive attack it to gain some height. You will need to double jump here to reach it.

After the blob, double dump and glide some more to reach the platform above.

Go a little bit to the left, and you will come across a huge enemy that looks something like a Brontosaurus with a worm-face. You must double-jump and dash over it to avoid it. It may use its charge attack or its ranged attack.

Ahead, there is a big chasm, so you will need to use the black blobs to stay afloat and progress in the game.

Move further to the left and cross two small spike pits.

Land on the platform below ahead, where you will come across another giant Worm-dino enemy. You can cross it by double-jumping and then dashing. Move to its left side and follow the path further ahead.

There is another spike put ahead. You will need to double jump and then glide to cross it.

Cross this pit, and you can enter the next area. Ahead, you will need to drop them before the spikes. Jump and then start gliding to go down.

Continue going down. Do not turn if a fork appears in the way. You need to head straight down.

Keep going down.

Fall all the way to the bottom and then turn right.

The next room is another platforming section. Do not fall down into the pits, and use dash, double jump, and glide to stay on the platforms. Keep going right.

In the next room, you will find a bench. Save your game here and then jump up to reach the area above this room.

The map can be picked up in this room. Check the big machine on the left side and interact with it to receive the map.
