You will need Craftmetal in Hollow Knight: Silksong to craft different tools, making it an important resource. However, some of these are hidden in areas that are not visible to you easily, making collecting a little hard. There are eight Craftmetal items in the game, which will allow you to complete your collection of tools. Craftmetal Guide – Hollow Knight: Silksong
You will need to collect eight Craftmetal to complete your collection of 57 tools. We have detailed their locations below:
Craftmetal #1:
You can buy 1 Craftmetal shard from Pebb, the first vendor you come across in the game. He is found in Bone Bottom.
You will need 60 Rosary Beads to purchase it.
Craftmetal #2:
You can find Craftmetal in The Marrow. We have marked the location on the map below:
From the starting location, head to the left side and jump down. Avoid the spikes on the left side. Land on the right side and go to the end of this path to find a metal deposit in the wall. Hit it to break it and get the Craftmetal.
Craftmetal #3:
You can find Craftmetal in Blasted Steps. Head to the location marked on the map below:
This whole section is filled with sandworms, so you cannot land on the ground. Instead, you will need to head right by using the platforms. Start going right by landing on the first platform ahead, and then jump and glide further to the right side, past the hanging rings.
After the first hanging ring and before the second hanging ring, there is a path leading down. Glide down to this entrance and then stick to the left side wall to enter the first left path that comes up.
Continue going to the left side by following the paths ahead. Avoid falling into the sand worm pit after this platform, and continue heading left and down. Keep going left and down while avoiding the sand worm pits, and you will ultimately come to the metal deposit in the wall. Hit it with your weapon to break it and obtain the Craftmetal.
Craftmetal #4:
You can find another Craftmetal shard in Putrified Ducts. Head to the location marked on the map below:
From the starting location, turn right and keep going right all the way to the end of this area. It is a long sprint, and you will need to cross some toxic water puddles as well. Avoid falling in them. At the end of this area, there is a long stretch of toxic water.
You will need to use everything you have, dash, double jump, etc, to cross it and reach the end. At the end, climb up the wall, and you will find the metal deposit in the wall.
Break it, and you will get the Craftmetal.
Craftmetal #5:
For this one, we are heading into Wisp Thicket. It is located on the top-right section of the map, as shown on the map below:
Once you arrive in this area, you will find this metal deposit loaded onto a cart with some dead bugs around it. Break the metal deposit, and you will get the Craftmetal.
Craftmetal #6:
You can purchase a Craftmetal shard from the merchant in Songclave. This is done after you complete the Wish The Lost Merchant in Act 3. Completing the Wish will unlock the merchant at the following location:
Once you have access to Jubilana, speak with him at Songclave, and you can purchase the Craftmetal shard for 180 Rosary Beads.
Craftmetal #7:
Next, we are heading down to Deep Docks at the location marked on the map below:
From the starting location, start going to the left side of the area. Keep going left until you run into a dead end. At this point, use the platform above it to go further ahead.
Go all the way to the end of this section, and you will find a chest. Break it open to receive the Craftmetal shard.
Craftmetal #8:
You can also find a Craftmetal shard in Underworks, in The Cauldron region. Head to the location marked on the map below:
Go left at the end of the chamber, and you will come across a metal deposit. Hit it, break it, and claim your Craftmetal shard. As soon as you start hitting it, a giant enemy will drop behind you, so get ready for a tough battle after picking it up.
