Classic retro shooter Gynoug The Winged Warrior is all set to launch next week on November 12 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The announcement was made by the indie publisher Ratalaika Games, announcing the release date of the digital edition of the acclaimed retro shooter.

The game was originally released on the Sega Mega Drive, where American fans will remember it as Wings of Wor, Gynoug The Winged Warrior will soon be out for everyone to enjoy and relive this beast of a shooter.

Gynoug The Winged Warrior is filled with action and full-blown destruction that will light up your screen. Check out the trailer below:

The planet has been decimated by a virus that has transformed and mutated into a breed of some of the most fearsome creatures ever! They are the Mutants of Iccus, led by the terrible Destroyer. Many have taken on the mutants before you… and many have failed. Now it’s your turn. From the deepest caverns of Iccus to the belly of the beast itself, you must fly and fight for the life of your planet! It won’t be easy… but then the best battles never are! Destroy the Destroyer and Iccus will be saved, its skies free once again. But fail and your wings will be clipped… forever!

In Gynoug The Winged Warrior, you will go through six levels of do-or-die action where you annihilate everything that dares challenges you, or even comes in your sights. A power-up system awaits where you can use it to dramatically increase your firepower and the overall force that you can exert. There are plenty of enemy bosses, mini-bosses, ghouls, and other creatures waiting for you to blow them up to smithereens.
