Sucker Punch has released a brand new story trailer for its upcoming PS4 exclusive Ghost of Tsushima which also reveals the release date for the game. Ghost of Tsushima is one of the most highly anticipated titles on PS4 as the current generation of consoles nears its end. The story reveals that we will be able to play Ghost of Tsushima on June 26, 2020.
This makes the game nearly 3.5 months away from today. The new trailer also reveals brand new gameplay footage and story information about the game. The new trailer is also entirely recorded on a PS4 Pro and the game looks really good. We have linked the trailer below so check it out.
We previously got to see more of Ghost of Tsushima during Sony’s State of Play presentation last year and at The Game Awards 2019 as well. Fans were starting to wonder that since the next generation of consoles is almost upon up, we might finally get to play Ghost of Tsushima on PS5 but Sony previously assured fans that the game will indeed release on PS4 and players will not have to wait much longer for that as well.
This was indeed true as today’s trailer reveals a Summer 2020 release date for Ghost of Tsushima. We previously reported that E3 2020 might get delayed and this year already has a very slow start when it comes to video games. It is the third month of the year and we did not see any major title release until now however the second and third half of 2020 appears to be pretty promising as far as AAA game releases go.
Ghost of Tsushima is one of these highly anticipated titles and fans will now be able to play it on June 26, 2020, exclusively on PS4.
