Forza Horizon 6 release date has seemingly leaked ahead of the Xbox Developer_Direct next week via an in-game pre-order message. As shared on X by XBOX INFINITE, Forza Horizon 6 is slated for a release on May 19, 2026, for the full version, with the Premium Edition launching on May 15, 2026, with a 4-day Early Access. Forza Horizon is known for giving early access to Premium or Ultimate Edition owners, and it appears that Forza Horizon 6 is following the same path.

The screenshot shared in the post reveals some other details as well. Every pre-order of Forza Horizon 6 will receive an exclusive Ferrari J50 in the game. The game will feature over 550 cars at launch, and it will be the biggest Forza Horizon title in the series. Apart from a 4-day Early Access, the Premium version also includes the VIP membership, a Welcome Pack, Car Pass, Time Attack Car Pack, Italian Passion Car Pack (post-launch release), and 2 Premium Expansions, which are also slated post-release. Details of what is included in every car park are not known at this point, but we are guessing everything will be revealed in the coming week.
While a lot of people commenting on the post have not been able to replicate this message themselves at this point, it could be a glitch or a possible early insight by ad placement in Forza Horizon 5 by the developers. This means that we could start seeing this ad for Forza Horizon 6 pre-orders after its official reveal next week. The next Xbox Developer_Direct is taking place on January 22, 2025, and it will focus on three upcoming titles: Forza Horizon 6, Fable, and Beast of Reincarnation, all first-party titles.
Forza Horizon 6 is the sixth instalment in the long-running arcade racing franchise by Xbox Game Studios and Playground Games. This is the longest that we have gone in the series without a brand-new Forza Horizon title. While we had hoped for it to be released in 2025, after no announcements during the Summer Game Fest season, Xbox surprised everyone with a short teaser revealed during the Tokyo Game Show 2025. Forza Horizon 6 will initially release on PC via Steam and Xbox Series X|S.
