Ubisoft has released the Year 4 Season 2 Tyranny for its long-running third-person action game For Honor. The new season is now live for all PS4, Xbox One, and PC players and it is also the most ambitious season for the game to date. Tyranny arrives right alongside the new Centurion update for the game which brings major fixes and improvements to the game.
The new season Tyranny is split into two major milestones. The season launch kicks off with a brand-new in-game event called For Honor Games: Metal Trials. This new event will bring back the fan-favorite game mode Test your Metal. In this mode, players team up and fight against impersonators of legendary warriors from the story campaign in brutal 4v4 elimination matches. This mode will only be available for a limited time until July 2 however completing matches will let you earn exclusive rewards.
With the new Season Tyranny, you also get tons of new customization options in the game. You now have new battle outfits, emotes, executions, and effects along with a brand new armor set revealing the face of the Centurion. A new seasonal battle pass is also now live in the game with tons of new cosmetic rewards for you to unlock by progressing in both the free and the premium passes. A new battle bundle has been added to the store which will allow players to purchase the Premium Pass along with 25 tiers instantly.

This time around, the season pass and battle pass content is themed around a secret society in Heathmoor named the Order of Horkos. This cult is determined to spread its influence on all factions no matter what the cost. The update also brings improvements and balancing changes to different Heroes with an in-depth update of the Centurion.
His improved kit will now allow you to have a wider range of options in offense and make the hero move viable in different situations. As part of the second milestone of Tyranny, players will get a brand new hero to join their roster along with an update to the core combat which will completely reinvigorate the For Honor gameplay on August 6, 2020. Further details on the second milestone will be shared in the coming days.
