Development is in full swing on the upcoming Stronghold: Warlords and previously, Firefly Studios shared with us some of the new Siege units that we will be controlling in our battles. In order to ensure that the development does not hit any snags in the way, Firefly Studios has asked for your help in the next bit of the development of Stronghold: Warlords by submitting your shrieks. Since due to the current pandemic situation around the world, the developer is unable to record audio in person so it is asking for your help.
The series composer Robert Euvino has announced a brand new competition that asks players to submit their own shrieks, grunts, hollers, and groans to be featured in the final version of the game. Since the developer is unable to source actors and record the audio professionally, the developer wants your help so if you want to get your shriek, grunt, holler, or groan to be featured in the full game, you better start warming up your vocal chords and scream into a microphone.

This is not the first time Firefly Studios is turning towards their fans for their feedback for the franchise. Earlier, the developer invited fans to vote on weapon designs, armor and even which deceased animals can be thrown by a trebuchet. The latest in these lines is the new screaming contest. This just shows how the developer is coping up with the real-world problems the current pandemic is putting in place for different developers around the world.
Robert Euvino, who is the Composer and Sounder Designer on Stronghold: Warlords, said:
These are troubling times. People are concerned about their health, loved ones and jobs. It got me thinking, this might be a good opportunity to have a little bit of fun with fans of the game and include them in a manner which we’ve never really tried before.
If you are interested in getting your screams and groans into the game, you can head over to the official Stronghold Discord server and join the #screams-of-stronghold channel where you will find more information about the submission process and technical requirements to make your screams usable in the game. If selected, you will be able to hear yourself scream in the game when certain units die.
Previously, Firefly Studios also answered some rapid-fire questions about the game as well as revealed the official gameplay of Stronghold: Warlords. Stronghold: Warlords is shaping up to be a great title and we cannot wait to play the game when it comes out.
