EA Sports has just revealed the cover art for its upcoming title FIFA 21. The cover art features the 21-year-old Paris Saint-Germain player Kylian Mbappe. The player was pretty stoked about him being featured on the game cover as he shared the cover art image on his Twitter account.
The 21-year-old is a star player who plays for Paris Saint-Germain and has won many awards over his career. He was previously named the Golden Boy in 2017 and has won the Ligue 1 Player of The Year award at the age of 20.

Mbappe also released a short statement, expressing his excitement by saying,
Being on the cover of FIFA is a dream come true. From my time at Bondy to Clairefontaine to the World Cup, this marks another big milestone. I’ve been playing this game since I was a kid and I am honoured to represent a whole new generation of footballers and be in the same group as many other amazing footballers who I now share this honour with.
FIFA titles have always featured star players from the real world on its cover art over the past several years. From Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo who were seen on many editions of the game, to new emerging stars of the current generation of footballers.
President of EA Sports, Cam Weber had this to say about the game,
As our FIFA franchise accelerates towards the next generation of player experience, we know our cover athlete needs to truly embody both the future of our game and the future of football as a whole. Kylian represents what we’re bringing to the experience this year, from his commitment to advancing football culture, to his deep social connections and relentless desire to take his game to the next level.
FIFA 21 is set to launch this year on October 9 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will also release on the next-gen consoles, namely the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X after the launch of both the console son the market. However, a release date has not been confirmed for the game on the new consoles.
