Developer Z-Software GmbH has announced to launch its post-apocalyptic tactical game Dustwind on consoles. The game will be released on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
The announcement was made alongside the release of a short trailer for the game. Check out the trailer below:
After the apocalypse the civilization as we know it has come to an end and the few people left alive have to fight each other in order to survive. These are hard times in the wasteland! You are the nameless heroine! A vicious assault has hit you hard. Without your memory and hopelessly outnumbered you go on a crusade, fighting your way through your tormentors in order to take revenge. If you don’t act carefully and clever, you won’t stand a chance! During this adventure, it will occur to you that it’s not only your own fate that is at stake but much, much more…
Dustwind features an emotional story campaign that will lead you through 16 intense missions, each raising the stakes higher than the previous. You will be collecting weapons and gear, developing your character based on your gameplay preference, and becoming a leading figure in these dark times. The game will have players making quick tactical decisions for the sake of survival. Sneak, aim for body parts, use varied weapons and ammo, drive vehicles, deploy turrets and barricades, use the environment to your advantage, trick and flank your enemies and set or disarm traps.

- Tactical Action Combat: You will need your tactical thinking and just a bit of reflexes as you lead your character into battle. Sneak, aim for bodyparts, use varied weapons and ammo, drive vehicles, deploy turrets and barricades, use the environment to your advantage, trick and flank your enemies.
- Clusterfun: Nothing feels as good as killing your enemy with a toilet plunger fired from your compound bow right at his face. You could have used broadhead arrows or explosive arrows. But you didn´t. They DESERVED a plunger to the face, that´s why.
- Single Player Campaign: Play the emotional story campaign of the nameless heroine. The story contains 16 missions with a playing time of around 10 hours.
- Skirmish: A great variety of exciting game modes awaits you. In Dustwind you can play in different types of map!
