Immersion Games has announced the release of Disc Ninja on the Oculus Quest Store next week on 5th August. The VR disc gold competition game will take players to feudal Japan and compete on over a dozen of virtual disc golf courses.
Players who have the Oculus Quest and the Oculus Quest 2 can play the game on their VR devices. Check out the trailer of Disc Ninja below:
Bartosz Rosłoński, the CEO of Immersion Games had this to say,
We are excited that Disc Ninja will appear on Oculus Quest 2. The team put a lot of effort and heart into creating the best disc golf VR experience with exceptional visuals. Players will visit lush bamboo forests, temples, shrines, and cherry blossoming slopes to get the highest score. I can’t wait to see what crazy trick-shots disc ninjas can pull off.
Disc Ninja takes you back to feudal Japan where you take part in a VR disc gold competition. You play as warriors that are trained as shurikens their entire lives. The game introduces a realistic disc throwing model, intriguing map design, and aesthetics straight out of feudal Japan.
You and other players will be completing courses using your disc throwing skills in as few attempts as possible, just like a game of golf. It may sound like an easy task but don’t be fooled. There are multiple paths that lead to the goal with many challenges and traps that will trouble you along the way.
Disc Ninja can be played solo or online with up to three other ninjas competing on 15 maps. These maps will be filled with hidden loot and secrets. Some of these maps are hiding shortcuts which might help outplay opponents. However, finding these shortcuts will require a sharp eye and disc throwing skills only a real ninja possesses.
