Publisher Freedom Games and Developer Sword and Axe have just announced the surprise launch of Dark Deity on Steam. The turn-based tactical RPG is available right now on Steam and you can purchase it for a 20% discount.
The game was revealed during the publisher Freedom Games’ E3 2021 showcase. Check out the trailer below:
Dark Deity takes inspiration from beloved tactical role-playing games. The game features thirty voiced characters from talented actors such as Kira Buckland from Nier Automata, Persona 5 Strikers, and Demon Slayer. The voice actors breathe a new life into classically styled pixelated characters.
The game also features 50 unlockable classes, providing a diverse crew ready for any situation, but if a character dies, they stay dead for the rest of the story. The game’s Grave Wound system avoids harshness of immediate perma-death. Characters taking actions near one another will bond and unloaction than 450 interactions.
