Paco Rabanne, the fashion house and fragrance brand, has teamed up with Starcom and Bidstack to launch a collaboration with Curved Space. As part of this collaboration with Maximum Games’ Curved Space, Paco Rabanne will launch a brand-new luxury men’s fragrance called Phantom. To celebrate, the developer has launched a new trailer featuring new content for the game as well.

The new innovative campaign celebrated Phantom’s luxury craftmanship and new-tech feel with a custom in-game character that represents the fragrance’s collectible robot bottle. Phantom is the world’s ‘first connected fragrance’ as it comes in a game-changing bottle design made with chrome, metal, and black. The character featured in the game to represent this iconic launch is also called Phantom.
It acts as a controllable companion in Curved Space and works alongside you as you travel to the deepest reaches of space. The Phantom character is free for everyone, and players can download it from the game’s start menu. After purchasing Phantom, it will accompany you on your missions as you take on enemies with a powerful spray attack. It can also port around the map, stun spiders and assist in battle.
Bidstack, the in-game advertising technology platform worked alongside Starcom to develop the strategy for the campaign and after exploring different ways, they found the perfect way to fit in Curved Space in the form of Phantom. This is the first time that a fragrance is featured as a playable character in a video game and shows Paco Rabanne’s innovative approach to engaging with their target audience.
