Crimson Desert Silver Fang Mount Guide – How to Get

Crimson Desert Silver Fang Mount Guide

This Crimson Desert Silver Fang Mount Guide shows how you can get the Silver Fang legendary mount in the game easily. In Crimson Desert, unlocking the Silver Fang mount is not something you can do quickly. It takes time, multiple quests, and a few tough fights. The good news is that once you reach the final step, getting Silver Fang itself is surprisingly easy if you know the trick.

To unlock Silver Fang, you will go through a long chain of tasks. First, you must complete the “Legendary Wolf” quest. After that, you will find and defeat Silver Fang, and finally craft a special item called the Sigil of Solidarity by visiting a Witch.

Before doing all this, it is strongly recommended to finish “The Missing Seal” quest in Chapter 5. This unlocks Elowen, the Witch of Wisdom, who is required later to craft the item that turns Silver Fang into a mount.

Unlocking the “Legendary Wolf” Quest

The Legendary Wolf quest doesn’t appear right away. You need to complete many faction quests in the Hernand region before it becomes available. This can take quite a while, especially if you are early in the game.

A reliable way to trigger it is by progressing through multiple faction storylines. Focus on completing quests from different houses like Roberts, Alfonso, and Serkis, along with a few from House Celeste (no bounties) and the Hernandian Parish. You should also finish the Fishermen’s Guild quests and a specific quest called “Hellhounds.”

After enough progress, the Legendary Wolf quest will finally unlock.

Hunting Black Fang

Once the quest starts, you will be sent to the northeast part of Hernand. When you reach the marked location, use your lantern to follow a glowing yellow trail that leads you to the wolf’s den.

Here, you will encounter Black Fang, surrounded by smaller wolves. It is better to deal with the smaller enemies first so they don’t distract you. Black Fang hits hard, but you can block attacks and wait for safe openings. A very effective trick is to use Nature’s Grasp to pick up a tree and smash it into the boss. This can remove a huge chunk of its health in one hit.

After taking enough damage, Black Fang will run away. You will need to track it again using your lantern. The second fight happens further west, near Howling Hollow. Use the same strategy to finish it off.

Finding Silver Fang

After defeating Black Fang, go back to the nearby camp to complete the quest. Only after finishing it will Silver Fang appear.

Now return to the Howling Hollow area and look for a small clearing filled with blue flowers. Be careful, as these flowers are poisonous, so avoid stepping on them.

If Silver Fang isn’t outside, check inside the nearby cave. Sometimes it spawns there, which can actually make things easier since you can clear out some enemies before the main fight.

Defeating Silver Fang

You can fight Silver Fang normally, but there is a much easier method. Lure it toward the edge of the clearing where it stops chasing you.

From there, you can safely attack it from a distance using arrows. An even faster method is to cut down a tree, lift it with Nature’s Grasp, and slam it onto Silver Fang. This can defeat it instantly if done correctly.

Turning Silver Fang into a Mount

After defeating Silver Fang, interact with its body to collect an item called the Fang of Silver Fang. Take this item to Elowen in the Witchwoods, located southwest of Hernand. Use her crafting option to create the Sigil of Solidarity. Once crafted, open your inventory and use the Sigil.

After that, Silver Fang becomes your mount, and you can summon it whenever you want. Unlike some other mounts, Silver Fang requires real effort to unlock, making it feel more special once you finally get it.
