This Crimson Desert Jetpack Guide shows how to unlock and craft the Kuku Rocket Pack in the game, which serves as an in-game jetpack. If you want to move faster and explore from the air in Crimson Desert, the Jetpack, also called the Kuku Rocket Pack, is a great tool to unlock. It lets you glide and boost through the sky, making travel much easier. However, getting it takes some effort since you first need to unlock its base version and gather crafting materials.
Jetpack Guide – Crimson Desert
Before you can even think about getting the Jetpack, you must progress through the main story. Make sure you have unlocked the full Pailune region and gained access to the Witch of Wisdom questline. Also, the base Kuku Pack must be unlocked first, as the Jetpack is an upgraded version of it.
Unlocking the Kuku Pack Blueprint
To begin, head to the Sanctum of Penitence. Your task here is straightforward. Clear out all enemies in the area and then fix the kiln inside.

Repairing the kiln involves interacting with a floating block. You will find this block on the second level near the entrance. Using your Axiom Force, move the block and carry it back to the kiln. Place it carefully on the bottom-left tower section, adjust its position, then use Force Palm to lock it in place.
Once everything is set correctly, a short scene will play, and you will receive the blueprint for the base Kuku Pack.
Crafting the Base Kuku Pack
After unlocking the blueprint, go to the Kilnden Workshop, which is located west of the Abyss Nexus. This is where you can craft the Kuku Pack.

To make it, you will need a Peddler’s Pack and a Kuku Pot. Once you have both items, you can craft the base version without much trouble.
Getting the Jetpack Blueprint
With the base pack ready, the next step is to unlock the Jetpack itself. You can do this by finding Grimnir’s assistant, who gives you a letter containing the blueprint. It is a good idea to track down this assistant first before heading to the main workshop.

Crafting the Kuku Rocket Pack
Now that you have everything unlocked, visit Grimnir and use his crafting services. The Jetpack requires a mix of materials along with the base Kuku Pack.
You will need the Kuku Pack, along with 10 Iron Ore, 5 Copper Ore, 5 Cogwheels, and 3 Small Batteries. Once all items are collected, you can finally craft the Kuku Rocket Pack.
After crafting it, the Jetpack becomes available for use. You can now launch into the air and travel more freely across the map. It is especially helpful for covering long distances quickly.
