This Crimson Desert House Guide details how you can get your own house in the game and make use of it. Having your own place in Crimson Desert gives you a spot to relax between fights and missions. It is not just for resting, you can also decorate it, manage your gear, and use nearby facilities. You won’t get it immediately, but once you unlock it, it becomes a very useful base for your journey.
House Guide – Crimson Desert
You will gain access to your house during Chapter 3, which is called Howling Hill. To reach this point, you need to finish a quest named “A Fresh Start.” This quest comes right after another one called “First Step to Rebuilding,” where the Greymane Camp becomes available.
At the start of this chapter, you will meet Marquis Serkis, who helps open up the camp area. After being escorted there, you will then talk to Barden Middler. From here, your job is to complete a series of simple camp-building tasks. These include things like pushing a wagon and raising a banner. Once all tasks are done, your personal house will be unlocked inside the camp.
Where to Find Your House
After unlocking it, you can easily locate your house on the map. It appears as a small cottage placed slightly southeast of the main Greymane Camp area. From then on, you are free to visit it whenever you want. You can do anything in your house, like sleeping, decorating, gear sharpening, or so on.
What You Can Do in Your House
At first, the house is quite basic. It comes with only a bed and a wardrobe, so don’t expect anything fancy right away. However, you can slowly improve it by placing furniture you collect during your travels. These items are marked with a house icon in your inventory, making them easy to identify.
If you want more decoration options, you can head to the Timberham Sawmill, located southwest of Hernand, where furniture can be purchased. Near your house, there is also a grindstone placed on the same cliff, just a short distance away. You can use it to sharpen your weapons and prepare for upcoming battles.
