CORSAIR has announced the release of its brand-new VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless XT Gaming Headset. The VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless XT Gaming Headset joins CORSAIR’s flagship range of headsets under the VIRTUOSO family. The VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless XT Gaming Headset features hyper-fast connectivity with the SLIPSTREAM WIRELESS and Bluetooth for simultaneous dual-wireless connections. It also supports the high-fidelity USB and universal 3.5mm wired connection.
Featuring four different connection options, the VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless XT aims at delivering uncompromised sound quality from virtually any source possible. It supports PC, Mac, PS4\PS5 (wired or wireless), Xbox One\Xbox Series X|S (wired only), Nintendo Switch, mobile, and many others. For wireless connections, it uses the 24bit/48KHz SLIPSTREAM WIRELESS technology for fast and unwavering 60ft signal. For dual-wireless connections, it is equipped with Bluetooth with Qualcomm aptX HD codec.
Connecting the headset with USB results in high-fidelity 24bit/96kHz audio while the universal 3.5mm connector ensures that you can connect the headset to any device that comes with a 3.55 audio jack however you will not access to a much-high experience as compared to other connectivity options that the VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless XT comes with. The VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless XT could be the only headset that you would ever need for all of your devices no matter what the connection type.
Coming to the audio drivers, the VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless XT features a hand-matched pair of high-density 50mm neodymium audio drivers that have been meticulously tuned within +\-1db of tolerance for exceptional performance. It offers twice the frequency range of typical gaming headsets at 20Hz – 40,000Hz, and supports Dolby Atmos three-dimensional spatial audio to offer true surround sound. It also comes with a detachable, Omni-directional broadcast-grade microphone that offers a wide dynamic frequency range of up to 10,000Hz.
The headband is made from lightweight aluminum while the padding is soft and has premium memory foam ear pads. The build-tin batteries offer up to 15 hours of use per charge. It is assisted with an accelerometer-based smart-wake function that preserves battery life by putting the headset into a standby mode when you put down the headset temporarily. VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless XT also fully supports the CORSAIR iCUE software when connected with USB or SLIPSTREAM WIRELESS.
At this point, CORSAIR VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless XT is available through the CORSAIR webstore and Best Buy however additional retailers will get their stock soon as well.
