This guide will show you how you can get the Cold Denial Pulse Rifle in Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals. The new season comes with a handful of weapons and gear that you can earn. This includes the legendary Cold Denial Pulse Rifle as well.
The Cold Denial is a Pulse Rifle as it has the High-Impact Frame, which though slows the fire rate, it in return increases the damage. It also increases the rifle’s accuracy when you are stationary when aiming down sight.
The Cold Denial also has the Headseeker which increases precision damage when you and body shots on the opponent. This effect stays active for a short period.
How to Get the Cold Denial in Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals
The only way you can get this legendary Cold Denial Pulse Rifle is by playing and grinding your way through the ranks of the Season Pass. You need to do this right up until you reach Rank 45 on the Season Pass. This is because the Cold Denial is a free reward item that gets unlocked when you reach this Rank.
Once you have reached Rank 45, the Cold Denial can then be obtained from Umbral Engram loot. You can increase your chances of finding one in either the Pyramid-Focused Umbral Engram, or the Arrival-Focused Umbral Engram. The Season of Arrivals also brings the Prismatic Recaster, allowing you to focus your Umbral Engrams, making it easy to find the Cold Denial rifle.
The Cold Denial comes with a Curated Roll, containing the following Perks:
- High-Impact Frame: High damage but slow firing. It makes the weapon highly accurate when aiming without movement.
- Smallbore: Increases range and stability of the rifle.
- Flared Magwell: Increases stability by a little, but increases the reload speed significantly.
- Zen Moment: Stability increases when damaging targets with the rifle.
- Headseeker: any shots that land on the body of the target will increase the weapon’s precision damage for a short period.
