CHIEFTEC has announced the launch of its brand-new small-form-factor chassis, the DT-10B-300, primarily aimed at basic home and office use. The compact case offers 8L of space inside for a variety of builds and comes with a pre-installed PSU. Featuring a compact size of 294mm x 92mm x 341mm, the case presents itself as a chassis aimed at light-to-moderate-workload jobs in a semi-modular configuration.
Chieftec Showcases its Latest Small-Factor Chassis DT-10B-300
CHIEFTEC DT-10B-300 is made with m-ATX motherboards in mind and a Slim ODD as well. Inside the case, you can install 1 2.5” SSD, 1 3.5” HDD, along with a 5.25” ultra slim 9.5mm ODD. It supports both Mini ITX and mATX motherboards with space for a GPU with a maximum length of 140mm. Apart from this, you will find four expansion slots with optional cooling, and the case comes with a basic set of screws to secure components in place. On the back of the case, you will find a Kensington Lock as well as a Pad Lock for security.
While it may be smaller than the previously released CHIEFTEC BW-01B-OP ATX Workstation Chassis that supported up to 360mm radiators, the new DT-10B-300 still does not compromise when it comes to cooling. To cool your components, you can install CPU coolers up to 70mm inside the new chassis, and it comes with a perforated side panel, which helps with increased airflow for long and intense PC sessions. Considering the fact that this is a low-budget PC chassis, it does not come stock with any fans, so you will need to consider investing in fans too.
To make it easier to install PC components inside the case, the entire front and the bottom panels come off, giving PC builders ample space to easily place the components inside the case. The case is not fully modular, but it can be opened to a certain extent to allow ease of access inside it. For general use, it comes with a pre-built 300W 80PLUS Bronze PSU by CHIEFTEC, so if the PC is not being used for any heavy work, it does not require any sort of separate PSU purchase at all. The chassis is only offered in black.
The new CHIEFTEC DT-10B-300 comes with a standard 24-month warranty. For additional details, you can head over to its official website and check your local hardware stores for availability. Previously, CHIEFTEC also released its White Edition Series of hardware, which is a first for the manufacturer.
