Publisher SOEDESCO has announced the release date of its upcoming first-person horror mystery game Charon’s Staircase. Charon’s Staircase will release on October 28, 2022, on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store along with PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Charon’s Staircase is getting a digital as well as a physical release across the world so fans can pick whatever edition and platform they want for their collection.
Charon’s Staircase puts you in the shoes of the agent ‘Desmond’ who is assigned the task of retrieving and destroying confidential documents that reveal the horrific past of numerous inhumane and sinister acts committed by The Ministry in the 70s. Upon reaching the facility, Desmond finds Project Alpha, a top-secret project which was kept away from the eyes of the public and does not like humans at all. The game is set inside the Oack Grove Estate which served as a base for all things horrible done to humanity.
It is important for The Ministry to destroy these documents because it is on its way to becoming a part of the European Union and they want all proof gone of their inhumane and sinister reign. It will not be an easy task for Desmond however you will experience it yourself next month when the game comes out on PC and consoles.
