Call of Duty Warzone Update Brings New Map, Game Mode, and More

Call of Duty Warzone Update

Activision and Infinity Ward have just released a new call of Duty Warzone update that sees the addition of a new map, and a new game mode with the classic battle royale rules where if you die, you die for good.

The game mode will now be more like the traditional battle royale where if any player is killed, they will not have any option to rejoin with Buy Stations or the Gulag. This mode also takes away Contracts which is also a vital feature in Warzone. The new mode will be interesting as it completely steps out of the format that players have been playing ever since the game was released.

This week in Modern Warfare play a new Multiplayer map Hardhat, experience a new Gunfight battleground Aisle 9, collect the Cash as Blood Money Quads returns to Warzone, pick up a new classic look for Ghost in Store, and more

In addition to the new game mode, the game also brings the new multiplayer map, Hardhat. The map makes a return in the series as it was first featured in Modern Warfare 3. Hardhat is a small construction site that boasts intense combat with its close-range combat features. However, it also features some long sight lines allowing for long-range shots towards the enemies. In addition, there is also another smaller map called Aisle 9 which will be a part of both Gunfight and the normal multiplayer modes.

The update also comes with some changes to the game, where a change of weapons has been made for Gulag along with new items. Gulag will now have assault rifles and SMGs with the mix of the regular shotgun and the handguns. The new weapons include the AK-47, M13, Kilo 141, Ram-7, Striker 45, and more.

There is also a new Armor Box item that will be available in all Warzone modes. It works like the Munitions Box, where it can be placed by a player for the entire team to replenish their armor before any engagement. These can be found as ground loot, in supply boxes, or can be bought from the Buy Stations.
