The Latest Blood Bowl 3 Beta Adds Two New Factions, Closed Beta Begins Next Week

Nacon and Cyanide Studio have announced a new Blood Bowl 3 Beta to begin next week, starting from June 1-12 on PC via Steam. According to Nacon, this new phase will shed light on the many features of the game.

If you already have a code from a previous beta of the game, you will have direct access as soon as the new beta opens. Otherwise, you will have to sign up to receive a key to get access to the game in closed beta.

Wackier, bloodier, and more spectacular than ever, Blood Bowl 3 is a hit with fans of the universe and strategy games alike. At launch, the game will include 12 teams each with their own pitch and cheerleaders, Solo and Multiplayer modes, and more customization options than a Blood Bowl game has ever received before.

The beta will contain six playable factions: the Black Orcs, the Imperial Nobility, The Elven Union, The Dwarfs, and two new factions that will be appearing for the first time in a Blood Bowl game.

The new beta phase will also bring new pitches, each with special rules to spice things up in matches. To learn more about the two new factions, tune in at the Warhammer Skull on Twitch on June 1, 2022.

Here is what is going to be new in Blood Bowl 3:

  • Based on the official rules of the latest edition of the board game, with new skills and overhauled passing mechanics
  • 12 races to choose from including, for the first time in a Blood Bowl video game, the Black Orcs, the Imperial Nobility, the Old World Alliance and the Chaos Renegades
  • Fields with special game rules to vary the types of match
  • New customization options for your coaches, cheerleaders, teams and every piece of armour worn by your players
  • A solo campaign open to all races
  • An improved competitive mode with new league management features and an official ladder
  • A flexible timer so you are free to organize practice sessions between experienced and rookie players
