Focus Entertainment and Mundfish Studio have announced that Blood on Crystal, the fourth and final DLC for Atomic Heart, will launch on April 16, 2026, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The expansion arrives alongside a newly released gameplay trailer and serves as the concluding chapter to the game’s overarching storyline.
Check out the explosive trailer for Blood on Crystal below:
Blood on Crystal follows protagonist P-3 as he ventures deeper into Facility 3826 in pursuit of CHAR-les. The expansion introduces new locations, including the Wave Platform and the Crystal Complex, while advancing the narrative toward what is described as a climactic showdown. Combat remains central, with players facing Polymorphs, new enemies capable of shifting elemental forms, alongside additional boss encounters tied to CHAR-les’ experiments.
The DLC emphasizes expanded combat options, adding new glove abilities and weapons intended to complement the adaptive enemy designs. As in the base game, encounters blend high-intensity action with the retro-futuristic setting that defines Facility 3826, pushing players to adjust tactics in response to shifting enemy behaviors.
In parallel with DLC’s release, an Ultimate Edition of Atomic Heart will roll out this spring in both retail and digital formats. A limited physical edition featuring an exclusive SteelBook is set to release on March 24, with digital versions becoming available on April 16 alongside the DLC.
Blood on Crystal launches April 16, 2026, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Atomic Heart was originally released back in February 2023, and currently, the PC Steam version of the game is offering a 75% discount across the base game as well as its multiple editions, including the Gold Edition and Premium Edition.
