Atari's Turn-Based Strategy Game Missile Command Delta Launches on PC and Consoles

Publisher Atari and developers Mighty Yell and 13AM have announced the launch of their retro-futuristic title Missile Command Delta. Missile Command Delta is now available on PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S. Missie Command Delta is a strategic, turn-based reimagining of Atari’s classic missile defense game which was released back in the 1980s. The game features a mysterious narrative in which you are left questioning whether you are stuck inside a simulation or truly defending cities from incoming missiles.

The game puts you inside a long-abandoned Cold War facility where you will find flickering lights, sealed doors, and dormant supercomputers everywhere. As you bring them back to life, you trigger a reactivation of a forgotten missile defense system and a new wave of threats. As the Missile Commander, your goal in the game is to defend cities from overwhelming attacks using a diverse arsenal of missile types, each with unique range, blast radius, and tactical use.

Every strike increases the pressure; resources dwindle and the line between simulation and reality begins to blur for you. The narrative puts you through a sci-fi story before you can find out the truth whether you are inside a simulation or saving the cities from attacks in real life.
