ARC Raiders Mechanical Components Guide – How to Get

ARC Raiders Mechanical Components Guide

In ARC Raiders, there are many items available to loot on the map. Mechanical Components are an important Uncommon Refined Material. They are mainly used for crafting or upgrading weapons. They have the Mechanical Tag class type. You can get them in two ways: by finding them on the map or by crafting them yourself. In this ARC Raiders Mechanical Components Guide, we will show you how you can get your hands on some mechanical components.

Where to Find Mechanical Components in ARC Raiders

You can find Mechanical Components in places marked with the Mechanical tag on each map. When you spot a location with this tag, you can dive into that area during any run and search for the item. Since ARC Raiders works like other extraction shooters, the loot is random, so sometimes you may need several runs before the item appears.

Here are all the map locations where you can look for Mechanical Components:

Dam Battlegrounds

  • Water Treatment Control
  • Scrap Yard

Buried City

  • Parking Garage

Spaceport

  • Shipping Warehouse
  • Container Storage

The Blue Gate

  • Adorned Wreckage
  • Checkpoint

Crafting Mechanical Components

If you don’t want to find items on the map, you can craft Mechanical Components in your Workshop. To do this, you first need to unlock the Refiner, a workbench you can build in your Workshop whenever you have enough materials.

To craft 1 Mechanical Component, you need:

  • 7 Metal Parts
  • 3 Rubber Parts

Both of these are Common Basic Materials, so you will usually find them scattered around the maps. You can also create Advanced Mechanical Components, which are basically a stronger version used for crafting higher-rarity weapons. For this, you must upgrade your Refiner to Level 2.

To craft 1 Advanced Mechanical Component, you need:

  • At least 2 Steel Springs
  • 2 Mechanical Components

That is all for this guide. Additional ARC Raiders guides are listed below:
