In ARC Raiders, you will have to explore an area named “Topside” to gather valuable loot because this game is all about looting and fighting with rivals or ARC machines. But collecting items is not the end; you need to extract successfully from the mission with this loot. There are some ways in which we can easily extract from the battle without notifying our enemies. Our ARC Raiders Extraction Guide details how you can successfully extract back to the base once you have collected enough loot.
Extraction Guide – ARC Raiders
There are two main methods of extraction in the game:
Normal Extraction
Each raid in ARC Raiders is around 30 minutes. You can check your map to find white icons showing a downward arrow; these are the extraction points with a timer. Depending on the map, they could be elevators, trains, or air shafts that take you back to safety.
The timer at each Extraction point is of great significance. When the timer reaches 0 at a specific extraction point, that extraction point will then become unavailable, and to use one, you need to move to another extraction point.
To use an extraction point, simply move to one, and after reaching, call the elevator/train. When you call, there will be a loud alarm triggering in the background, which notifies all your nearby enemies and ARC Raiders.
To stay safe, it is best to hide and wait for the doors to open once the train arrives. Once you think it is clear, rush inside and interact with the console to start the extraction process. It takes about five seconds, and then you will be transported back to Speranza, your base.
Using Raider Hatches for Extraction
Another way of extraction in the game is by using Raider Hatches. To use one, you need a Raider Hatch Key, which is a rare item, and can be found while exploring or bought from Shani, the trader, for 9000 coins. Once you have one, extraction becomes much simpler and quieter.
On your map, a Raider Hatch appears with a symbol similar to the normal extraction icon, but it has no timer. You can use it anytime during the raid, at the beginning or at the end.
When you reach the hatch, just use your Raider Hatch Key on the nearby terminal. Unlike the normal extraction, no alarm will sound, so you won’t draw the attention of nearby enemies. After activating it, the hatch will open, and you can slide down safely.
