Annapurna Interactive, the publisher behind titles such as Outer Worlds, Sayonara Wild Hearts, and Florence, has announced the creation of a brand-new internal development studio. The publisher is expanding its operations in Los Angeles, California and the new studio is part of this expansion. The publisher has also announced that the newly formed studio is currently hiring experienced game developers to fill a few key roles for a new project.

Many of us came from an internal development background and are excited to make this a part of Annapurna Interactive moving forward. We can’t wait to share more about what’s to come—anything is possible.
Annapurna Interactive became famous back in 2017 after it released critically-acclaimed titles such as What Remains of Edith Finch and Gorogoa. Since then, the publisher has established a reputation for creating unique and emotional games that have been loved by players from around the world. The studio has further expanded its genres with I Am Dead, If Found…, and Due Process. All three of these titles were recently released.
Annapurna is confident that the new development studio will further help the publisher to grow and diversify its expansive portfolio of games. Annapurna is currently seeking talent for positions of Game Director and Senior Producer positions to oversee an unannounced new internal title. The publisher is also looking for support with new positions including Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Data Analyst, and Release Manager.
