Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is truly a unique experience that does not hold your hands as you lead your family of primates through dangerous forests, swamps, and other dangerous places in order to survive and keep on evolving along the way as well. Because of the game’s open design and no hand-holding gameplay, many of the players had issues with the game as well however it quickly made its place among the best of the titles.

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is a true survival game as you have to scavenge for supplies and food. One of the most unique aspects of the game was its evolving mechanic where every new tool you make or any other activity you complete such as hunting a predator will evolve your character in a certain way and thus affects all of your future offspring accordingly. In the game, you not only have to look out for yourself, but your entire tribe and your lineage are on the line as well.

Panache Digital has also released a brand-new video celebrating this huge milestone and you can check it out below:

Released back in August 2019, the Ancestors took less than 2 years to achieve this massive milestone. Currently, the title is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and if you still have to experience this unique game, you can do so on the platform of your choice. It would be interesting to see if the developer releases a next-gen upgrade for the game now because reaching the milestone certainly means that the fans love the title and would certainly love to see the game live on the new generation of consoles as well.
