After announcing the release date of Ambition: A Minuet in Power last week, Joy Manufacturing Co and Iceberg Interactive have delayed the game until August. The developer wants to polish the game even further by removing the bugs to provide smooth gameplay for everyone. Ambition: A Minuet in Power was originally planned for a release this week on 26th May but has been delayed until August on an unconfirmed date.
The announcement came with a short statement by Joy Manufacturing Co,
The reason for an initial delay is that our dear Camille found a few nasty bugs on her daily cleaning routine. We’ll have to properly squash those before we release, because we want the experience to be as smooth as possible for everyone.
Of course, it won’t actually take until August to fix these bugs, but we can’t just release the second we’re confident the game runs silky smooth. One major reason is that June and July are usually dominated by Triple A games and news, leaving little space for an indie visual novel to be noticed! Delaying until August also means the PC and Switch releases are closer together, which is nice for our Nintendo friends who want to avoid spoilers.
We sincerely apologize for the delay. We were as excited as you all were for the launch, but we’ll hold on to the hype a little longer!
