Nioh 3 Hiruko Final Boss Battle Guide – How to Defeat

Nioh 3 Hiruko Final Boss Battle Guide

This Nioh 3 Hiruko Final Boss Battle Guide details all the tips and tricks you need to defeat Hiruko. Hiruko is the last story boss of the game, but he is much easier than you might expect. He only has a single health bar and doesn’t have overwhelming damage. If you stay calm and control his Ki properly, this fight ends quickly and smoothly. With the right use of talismans, summons, and steady pressure, you can dominate most of the battle.

Hiruko Final Boss Battle Guide – Nioh 3

You will face Hiruko Boss in A Sinister End Mission at level 134, and you should use Ninja Style with Dual Swords. This battle is relatively easy.

How to Defeat the Boss

At the start, stay mobile and circle behind him whenever possible. Attacking from the rear keeps you safe and lets you deal consistent damage. If you have the Life Leech talisman, apply it early. This allows you to leech his health while attacking, which makes the fight even safer. Continue striking from behind and avoid standing directly in front of him for too long.

Once Hiruko enters his Yokai Realm phase, shift your focus toward breaking his Ki. This is the moment to unload your Summoning Seals, especially Ibaraki Doji, to rapidly drain his Ki bar. Follow up by using your Ninjutsu abilities while he is pressured.

When his Ki empties, he becomes extremely vulnerable. At that point, stay aggressive and keep him locked in place with repeated melee combos. Between each combo, throw a Shuriken so your Ki can recover without losing momentum.

After he returns to normal form, use whatever summoning seals you have left. Reapply Life Leech if needed and go back to attacking from behind. You can recharge your Ninjutsu through melee hits, then back away and throw your Ninjutsu from a safer distance.

Hiruko will rotate between different elemental attacks, but most of them are manageable if you don’t stay close for too long. His physical attacks are fairly slow, giving you enough time to dodge and reposition.

Overall, this final encounter feels more controlled than chaotic. As long as you manage Ki properly and maintain pressure during his vulnerable states, Hiruko cannot do much to stop you. Once he falls, the main story bosses are complete.
