Remothered: Broken Porcelain Gets a Massive Patch Update

Remothered: Broken Porcelain Update

Modus Games, developer Stormind Games, and director Chris Darril of Darril Arts has announced the Remothered: Broken Porcelain patch update for their survival-horror game.

The game launched last year in October 2020 on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The patch update was direly needed for the game which was marred with bugs and clunky controls when we got to review it last year on PC.

The developer had earlier promised that the studio will be working on fixing the issues that many players were facing, likely by releasing an update.

Antonio Cannata, CEO and co-founder of Stormind Games had this to say,

Stormind Games has been hard at work patching Broken Porcelain to ensure players experience the game as intended. The game is now at its most polished state yet, thanks to the help of our devoted community of players that have taken the time to write to us and report bugs. We can’t stop thanking all the fans who have supported the game from the beginning, and those who have acknowledged our hard work and our love for the players.

The Remothered: Broken Porcelains update will include: general optimisation, bug fixes, lighting and music improvements, polished animations, and more. You can check out the full patch notes on the Modus Games website.

Shane Bierwith, EVP of global marketing at Modus Games also had their say about the patch update announcement,

We’re grateful to have partners like Stormind Games and Darril Arts who truly care about the players and have worked tirelessly to improve the game since launch.

Remothered: Broken Porcelain is the sequel to the first Remothered title, where it builds upon the first game with new characters, evolved and expanded gameplay, with a world filled with deadly secrets. The game features young misfit Jennifer getting acquainted with the faces and frights of The Ashmann Inn, a secluded mountainside establishment steeped in mystery.

From the residence’s unbelievably cold management to a rumored haunting by a robed figure known only as Porcelain, Jennifer faces ample challenges settling into her new home. Meet Jennifer and the rest of Remothered: Broken Porcelain’s key characters in the trailer above.

We can hope that the Remothered: Broken Porcelain update fixes some of the major issues in the game. Post your comments below.
