Check out the Nintendo Switch launch trailer of the game below:
The Isle of Man TT course is not the typical racing circuit that you may expect. It is a route full of imperfections and includes fast corners, tight bends and long straights where riders can exceed speeds of 300 km/h. If you are a fan of motorbike racing, chances are you quite familiar with the course, having seen how dangerous yet exciting the racing is. TT Isle of Man Ride on The Edge 2 recreates this exact demanding course of this legendary race for fans of bike racing.
The game now takes realism to new heights with improved bike physics, wear and tear of the various parts and components of the bike, and the includes of official TT bikes and the riders that are related to the racing. KT Racing has closely worked with two professional riders to meet the expectations of fans and players alike.
Here are the key features of the game:
- Realistic bike physics and challenging gameplay
- All 38 miles (60km) of the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy meticulously recreated
- 17 additional circuits to explore and for improving riding skills
- An open-world area for testing reflexes and bike set-ups
- A deep Career mode offering the chance to move up from amateur rider to winner of the Senior TT
- 27 riders and 13 official TT bikes available, as well as 5 legendary bikes
- A unique helmet cam for increased immersion
We have already reviewed the game, where we gave it a score of 8.2/10.
TT Isle of Man 2 is a solid step in the right direction. It is a great improvement over the previous TT Isle of Man both technically and visually. The game offers silky-smooth gameplay and despite the somewhat mediocre visuals, it looks okay for a bike racing game. The level designs are better and the terrain response while driving the bikes is amazing. It also offers plenty of game modes to keep you busy for a long time even if you are unable to play online. The Career mode is really well made and will keep you entertained for quite some time as you try to reach the Tourist Trophy on Isle of Man. There have not been many bike racing games lately so TT Isle of Man 2 – Ride on the Edge is here to satisfy your thirst for bike racing.
