11 bit studios held its first-ever digital showcase, 11 bit studios Digital Showcase 2025, and it was filled with some amazing titles, news, reveals, and information about the studio’s upcoming releases. The updates spanned multiple titles, ranging from internally developed games and externally developed games published by the studio.
Viewers were treated to highlights for upcoming major content updates for The Alters and Frostpunk 2, along with two new trailers for the upcoming title Death Howl, which is launching today on PC and consoles next year. 11 bit also revealed a roadmap for Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault in Early Access, along with a development update on Frostpunk 1996.
The show kicked off with details on the upcoming DLC packs for the two flagship titles, The Alters and Frostpunk 2. The Alters is a sci-fi survival game, and its first Free Major Content Update is now live for all players. It brings some much-needed features to the game like Relax Mode and Photo Mode. The update also introduces a revamped saving system that allows saving on exit and during key gameplay moments. The update also brings a card-based min-game, a new black-and-white noir-style story mission, and much more.
The society-survival city-builder Frostpunk 2 also received its first DLC called Fractured Utopias. This update reforges the Utopia Builder Mode and arrives alongside the console release of Frostpunk 2. All owners of the game will receive a batch of new free content included in the latest update. 11 bit studios announced that both flagship titles, The Alters and Frostpunk 2, will continue to receive additional patches, updates, and support through 2026.
Moving on, the externally developed game, published by 11 bit studios, Death Howl, took the stage. Death Howl is launching today on PC via Steam, and its console release is slated for February 19, 2026. Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, developed by Digital Sun, is now available in early access, and the developer shared a work-in-progress look at what is coming next to the title. The developer thanked the players for all the feedback and revealed the future content, which is based on this collected feedback. 11 bit studios also announced that merch from both Death Howl and Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is now available through their merch store, and fans can get their hands on their favourite items from these games.
Finally, the studio moved to Frostpunk 1886, an upcoming title which serves as a reimagining of the first game in the franchise, completely rebuilt from the ground up using Unreal Engine. The studio shared one of the biggest updates on Frostpunk 1886 during the showcase where Maciej Sulecki, Game Director of Frostpunk 1886, highlighted different areas of focus such as enhancing citizen behavior through improved animations, and motion capture, adding more expressive slices of daily life in New London to deepen emotional resonance, a redesigned lighting system emphasizing the harshness of the Frostland, and upgraded building textures for a more grounded, immersive city. He concluded by saying:
