SturmFront The Mutant War

It looks like PlayStation Vita is still getting new games on Sony’s portable console as Red Art Games announced the launch of SturmFront The Mutant War Farewell Edition. The game will be released this month on 18th June.

SturmFront – The Mutant War: Farewell Edition is an enhanced version of the original bullet-hell arcade-inspired classic. The Farewell Edition features more content, enhanced gameplay, improved graphics, and a lot of blood.

If you can believe it, the game was also released on the Nintendo Wii U last month, which was the first new release for the console in 2021. Though the game will be available digitally on the PlayStation Vita, the game has a physical edition on the Nintendo Switch. This means that if you own a Nintendo Switch console, you can get the physical edition of the game which is limited to 2,900 copies.

SturmFront The Mutant War

In SturmFront The Mutant War, you play as Siegfried von Hammerstein, who is a unique semi-organic battle unit with the sole purpose to kill and destroy. Purge the mutant with your flamethrower, slay gigantic enemies, and find all the hidden souls to uncover the truth in this classic arcade.

It is the year 1984 and it is the end of the world as we know it. A great plague, wrought by  human hands, devoured all known life and puked forth a new and foreign kind of creature: the  mutants. The evils that escaped this Pandora’s box, still loyal to the alien genes within their  flesh, could not be controlled by humans. Our extinction is upon us!

Dr. Hartmuth Griesgram, a heartbroken and eccentric scientist who is responsible for the  creation of synthetic humans, activates his accursed human manufactory one last time to  unleash his ultimate creation and his final hope: the prototype SturmFront battle unit. A flawless  cyborg engineered for war.
